My primary focus is Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy law. Filing for bankruptcy will stop harassing creditor phone calls, collection activity and any pending lawsuits.
- Chapter 7: If you qualify for Chapter 7, you can get a complete discharge of your unsecured debt. In most cases, will be able to retain possession of your home, car, and other property.
- Chapter 13: Chapter 13 is a bankruptcy plan for reorganization of debt. Under Chapter 13, you can stop foreclosure proceedings; allowing you to keep your home while discharging your debts.
- Chapter 11 consumer bankruptcy: This is a bankruptcy plan for individuals with too much debt to qualify for a Chapter 11 or Chapter 13.
- Chapter 11 businesses bankruptcy: Chapter 11 is a process that allows businesses to reorganize their debts. It allows a business debtor to decrease its debt and increase its cash flow. It can also allow a business to maximize a return on the sale of its assets.
