My History
I was born and raised in Maine. I received a degree from the University of Maine in Orono and my law degree from Suffolk University Law School. For over two years, I practiced at a boutique Chapter 11 bankruptcy firm in Chicago. In 1984, I started my own bankruptcy firm. Today, I offer legal services in bankruptcy, real estate, nonprofit and business law.
I am a member of many different professional boards and organizations, including:
- The American Bankruptcy Institute
- The National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys
- Licensed to practice in four different states and has appeared before judges in more than 12 federal courts
- Board of directors member for many local non-profit organizations and for-profit corporations
